My favrotie film response for the film Hamlet is the second version. The reason why I picked the second version as my favorite was because that from the opening scene, the movie had no differences between the movie from the book. From the first scene on, it set the tone for the movie. It was just like the book with the dialogue, costumes, colors, and everything about it. You can tell that Ken Branagh (the director of the second film) wanted to be just like the book with no major changes. The lighting is very bright and clear also the camera angles I also liked.
Also during the poening scene, the camera is the ghost basically and we get to see it from a ghost's eyes and what he is seeing. The character who I thought protrayed most realistic to the book was Hamlet. Hamlet was just what I imagined him to be tall, a bit buff, and handsome. Hamlet definitely had the lok of a prince and certinaly looked the part of the film. If I had the chance to change just one thing about the film is even though I liked the guy who played Hamlet, he should be a younger person like 18 or 19.
